SHOPPING IN PRAGUE’S OLD TOWN
Apart from the Old Town in general, the number one place to go is the shopping mile on Wenceslas Square. Here the shops are lined up close to each other and are complemented by restaurants, bars and hotels. Luxury awaits on Paris Street, Pařížská ulice, where mainly international designers offer exclusive products.
Even if in this case shopping is understandably not an option for everyone, the chic Art Nouveau and Gründerzeit buildings make window-shopping worthwhile. The opportunities continue in the side streets of Pařížská ulice. In addition to boutiques, perfume shops, jewellers, fine restaurants and bars, you will find art galleries, crystal glass shops and souvenir shops that invite you to browse and admire.

For those who want to find many shops in one place while shopping in Prague, the city’s shopping centres are perfect. Prague’s biggest shopping temple, the Palladium, offers shopping on five floors. Thanks to its central location in the heart of Prague, the centre attracts many visitors every day and boasts an incredible selection of shops, restaurants and services on almost 40,000 square metres. Can you already feel your shopping heart beating a little faster with joy and excitement?
An alternative venue to the Palladium is the Atrium Flora shopping centre, which even has a multiplex cinema with a 3D screen on 20,000 square metres of retail space.

If you consider yourself a bargain hunter, you should definitely visit one of Prague’s outlets. If you are looking for a wide range of branded products at reduced prices, the Fashion Arena outlet is the place to be.
At the largest outlet centre in the Czech Republic, you can find fashion, jewellery, leather goods and cosmetics from a wide range of brands at deeply discounted prices. The shopping centre is just under half an hour outside the city and is well served by public transport.
THE MOST POPULAR MARKETS IN PRAGUE
The various markets that enrich Prague are unusual and always good for a surprise. The largest flea market in the Czech Republic, U Elektry in the Vysočany district, is an insider’s tip for vintage lovers. With a bit of luck you might find a treasure or two to take home at a bargain price.
The Havel Market in the centre of Prague is the oldest market in the Czech Republic. Open every day, it offers a great selection of delicious treats such as waffles, as well as traditional souvenirs.
