The Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket is valid on the following means of transport:

• On all 2nd class local trains within Bavaria and in participating transport associations
• In the entire border area between the Czech Republic and Germany on local trains operated by Czech Railways České dráhy (CD) in the train categories express trains (EX), fast trains (R and R(x), express trains (Sp) and passenger trains (Os).

Please note that the Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket is not valid on long-distance trains (ICE, IC).

Children up to and including the age of 5 are generally always allowed to travel free of charge - regardless of whether they are your own children or not. They do not have to be taken into account when calculating the number of passengers.

6-14 year olds: Up to 3 of your own or other children can travel free of charge - regardless of whether the ticket is purchased for one or more people.

Yes, small dogs (up to the size of a domestic cat) can travel free of charge in the transport container - larger dogs count as passengers and are charged as an adult person.

Please note: If you are taking a paid dog with you, please enter the German term "Hund" instead of a passenger when booking.

To take bicycles with you in Bavaria, you need one bicycle day pass per bicycle. Please also note that bicycles are subject to reservation in the Czech Republic and an additional ticket is required. You can find more information under Bicycle transportation in the Czech Republic.

• Yes, your Bavaria-Bohemia Ticket can be used as an inexpensive group ticket and your fellow passengers can also join you en route.
• However, who and how many people are traveling with you is already determined when you purchase the ticket - it is therefore not possible to change your travel companions afterwards.
• As part of the ticket inspection, your names may be checked with a request for identification.

It is not possible to exchange or cancel your Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket.

An exception to this is if you are entitled to a return or exchange of your ticket on the basis of your passenger rights - for example because you expect a delay of more than 60 minutes at your destination station.

If the specified day of validity is a public holiday in the federal state of the departure station or in the first federal state through which you travel, the Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket is valid in the entire area of validity from 0:00 a.m., as well as on 24.12 and 31. 12 on ALX, VBG, OPB and WBA trains as well as on 2nd class local trains of other railroads within Bavaria and in the entire Czech border area with Germany on local trains of Czech Railways (CD) in the train categories R, Sp, Os, Ex, EC (on the Furth i Wald - Plzen hl.n. section).
