The alex offers you an easy way to get to Munich Airport. If you are traveling from the south of Munich, we recommend changing at Munich Central Station to the S1 or S8 lines, which go directly to the airport. For passengers traveling from the north, we recommend taking the alex to Freising and using the direct train connection Freising - Munich Airport Terminal.
Rail & Fly tickets are valid on the entire alex network.

The Bayern-Ticket 1st class / 2nd class is valid on a day of your choice Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m., on Saturdays and Sundays from 0.00 a.m. until 3.00 a.m. of the following day (on public holidays throughout Bavaria and all day on 24 December and 31 December) on ALX trains, OPB trains, VBG trains, WBA trains and on local trains of other railways in 1st or 2nd class within Bavaria. In Munich also valid on the underground and suburban railway.

The Bayern-Ticket Night 1st class / 2nd class is valid on a day of your choice in 1st or 2nd class Sunday to Thursday from 6.00 pm to 6.00 am on the following day, Friday and Saturday (24 December and 31 December) from 6.00 pm to 7.00 am on the following day and additionally on the nights before a public holiday valid throughout Bavaria from 6.00 pm to 7.00 am on the following day.

The Bayern-Hopper-Ticket is valid on a day of your choice Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 0.00 a.m. until 3.00 a.m. of the following day for one person for connections up to 50 km distance between the start & destination station for a return journey on ALX, VBG, WBA and OPB trains as well as on local trains of other railroads in 2nd class within Bavaria. It is only valid for journeys that begin or end outside a transport association.

Board the alex and buy your ticket directly from the train attendant at the alextreff at no extra charge. With the Prague Special you can travel from Munich, Nuremberg or Regensburg to Prague and back - without having to buy connecting tickets.
The "Prague Special return" ticket is valid for two weeks from the first day of validity - so you can plan your return journey flexibly. You can travel even more flexibly with our "Prague Special one way" ticket.
Up to three children up to the age of 14 can travel free of charge.

Travel with a bike or dog
Fahrrad-Tageskarte Bayern from € 6.50
The Bavarian Bicycle Day Pass is valid for one day within Bavaria until 3.00 a.m. on the following day. It is valid on all local trains as well as on all public transport in the Nuremberg area transport network (VGN) and on underground and suburban trains in the Munich transport and fare network (MVV). Please note the closing times and special conditions of carriage in the respective transport networks.
If accompanying adults have a valid Bicycle Day Pass / Bicycle Short Distance Ticket Bavaria, up to 3 children up to 14 years of age traveling free of charge can also take their bicycle with them on all local trains within the area of validity.

Fahrrad-Kurzstreckenkarte Bayern
Jízdenka Fahrrad-Kurzstreckenkarte Bayern stojí v závislosti na trase od 0,85 € do 6,50 € a platí pro 1 jízdní kolo v místní dopravě pro spoje do 38 km včetně (jednosměrná cesta) nebo 17 km (cesta tam a zpět). Pokud má dospělý doprovod platnou bavorskou jízdenku na krátké vzdálenosti, mohou si až 3 děti do 14 let, které cestují zdarma, vzít s sebou kolo i do všech místních vlaků v oblasti platnosti.
